A Graduation Card for The Paper Players 691 Sketch Challenge

Graduation season is here! The Cap and Gown stamp set is available online and it’s great for this time of year.

The Paper Players have a fun sketch challenge this week which worked nicely with my graduation theme.

I used Cherry Cobbler as my color to complement the black robe and gold elements. I’m not sure what college or university has a Cherry Cobbler color scheme, but if that’s your alma mater, let me know in the comments.

Using fluid watercolor paper, I painted 4 panels using my aqua painters and Cherry Cobbler ink. Once dry, I heat embossed the cap in gold. I heat embossed the diplomas as well and fussy cut them before adhering to the card.

The sentiment is from the Say Something Mix & Match Ephemera Pack. There are so many perfect sentiments in that pack. I love them.

Visit The Paper Players and take part in this week’s sketch challenge!
